The red/blue indicator lights do not tell you when the device is fully charged. In fact, I could not find any battery life indicator anywhere. After charging the battery overnight, the longest recording I could make was 43 minutes until the battery died. I charge the battery at least overnight each time I use the camera, but I only get 20 to 30 minutes of recording before the thing shuts off. 43 minutes was the longest recording. Too bad, 20 minutes is long enough sometimes, but I could really use something that records for a couple of hours, even if there is no motion or sound for a long time. The picture quality and sound quality seem to be pretty good for such a small device.
