LS2 Helmets FF387 Full Face Motorcycle Helmet (Solid Gloss Black, XX-Large) Review

I saw this helmet at Team Moto, Enoggera in Brisbane the other day. It was on special for $129 so I decided to try it out.

It fits snuggly, and it's quite light so hopefully will reduce neck strain, although I am yet to take it for a long ride.
Contrary to the features advertised the strap is a real bugger to get on and off as it seems a little short. Consequently I feel like I am being strangled while putting it on!

The other feature advertised is non-fog/non-scratch screen.... Well within seconds of me putting the helmet on two things happened 1) The visor fogged up, and 2) airflow was restricted so much that I had to open the visor to breathe.
That's a bit of a problem on both issues as I would like to see when riding and I also want to breathe. I need to be riding for about 20 seconds at 40kmh for the airflow to allow breathing and the fog to clear.
The two vents on the front below the visor are too small to allow airflow when standing still or moving slowly through traffic, so I guess I will need to lift the visor in these situations.
So for the price it's a lightweight helmet and fits well, however there are some serious flaws in the design in regard to airflow.

I probably should have resisted impulse buying and done some more research.

Fit System 68559N Passenger Side Replacement OE Style Power Mirror Review

The electrical connector is not the same as the original on my 2009 Altima Coupe LH DRiver Side mirror. The electrical connector is also located a little too low and forward to fit through the original factory rectangular sheet metal opening. To install this mirror it was necessary to drill a 5/8 hole in the lower forward corner of the factory rectangular sheet metal opening, and also file the opening a little. The original Nissan factory electrical connector must be turned up side down to fit into this replacement mirror. That said, The mirror LooKs and functions the same as the original factory mirror it replaced.

Of the 7 work lights that I ordered 3 did not work. They have a feature called soft touch that allows the user to switch between spot mode and work light. The problem I have had is that the switching is too sensitive and the light constantly changes between modes making usage very difficult. I have a couple of units that work well and I like them very much. Other problems I have had would be automatic mode switching or flashing, one unit fried inside, one unit turns on sometimes.

I also don't like the lack of battery power indication on the flashlight.

I have a 2003 MINI and wanted to dress it up. These stripes sure did the trick. Really updated the look of the car. I was having the car detailed so I had them put on professionally while it was at the detailer. Yes, they are pricey, you can get a much cheaper generic stripe kit at a car parts store, but they wont be the same quality nor will it give the custom look of the MINI logo. Oh, the detailer said he had a tough time making sure it was perfectly straight.
