I've had this about 3 weeks so far and it has worked at expected. This disc lock has given me some piece of mind when I leave the bike parked for any length of time. It is definitely worth getting a reminder cable as well. Trying to get on the bike, much less ride away with it still on will attract a great deal of attention given that it is pretty loud when it does go off.

The only issue I had was one day when I got home from the office on my bike. It had rained briefly while I was at work, and when I put the lock back on when I got home, it did not arm. After I blew the dust off the sensor which detects when you mount it on the disc rotor, it worked again. This kind of situation, and the remedy, is described in the manual.

I would buy one again, should the need arise.
