Low And High Level Inputs
There are two different ways that you can get a signal into RIOT series amplifiers: high and low level input. Low level input is measured in voltages and comes in the form of RCA outputs from the back of your receiver, going to the RCA inputs on your amplifier. High level input is measure in wattages, and comes in the form of one positive and one negative wire from the back of your receiver, going to the input terminal of your amplifier in the same wire form. Low-level (RCA) input wiring is preferred for best audio performance. Always use a high-quality RCA cable for the best audio performance. i bought this amp at the beginning of august to power a 10" infinity reference 250w subwoofer. After doing some research I found out that boss greatly overrates their amps on wattages, so I went for this 350w rms one even though I only needed 250. Its decent. good for the money. for some reason my ground connection went bad after a month but i wired it differently and it's back up and running. Only complaints i have is that the bass isnt always very clean, and it should be moving the sub more at the power rating it was given.
