JLM Standard HID Conversion Kit 9007/9004/HB5 Flex Bixenon 8000K in Retail Box Offroad (Iceberg Blue) Review

Installed this kit today (4/4/13) and it is absolutely awesome. I read the bad reviews and was afraid it would flicker and die after running for 20 minutes but it works perfectly. Iceberg blue is a good description for the color (8000k), it's similar to the hue of white LEDs. BiXenon functionality is really good, did multiple tests while driving. These HID's have a good start-up time and are just as good as any other kits I've seen. Did not need warning cancelers/capacitors.

If i remember I'll add to this review after a few weeks/months and report on the status of the kit/lights.

Shipping was ridiculously fast, i received them on friday after ordering them on tuesday with standard shipping. I was quoted to receive them in 6 days at the earliest. Also the customer service is very prompt and superbly helpful. I made an error and thought i received the wrong product and after researching videos and reading Quickautohouse's reply email (with pictures included!!), I knew how to install the kit and confirmed I had the right one. Kit comes with 2 bulbs, 2 ballasts, the control unit, a pack of zip-ties, and two 3M mounting pads. Took about 20 minutes to install and it was my first kit.

Lastly I'd advise to pull the DRL (Daytime Running Light) fuse out of your fuse box so your kit doesn't struggle to light at half power and burn itself out. (You can move pretty quick with one leg instead of two but after a while you'll be hurting and wanna stop.) So do not run the lights at 6V instead of 12V.
