  I needed the tool to adjust the pilot screws in a 1997 Honda Valkyrie, which has six carburetors in tight spaces. The tool handles has a steel ball with spring along with indents to help hold it in place, but I had to remove it so I could feel if the pilot screw was bottoming out. The handle also has even spaced markings, but they are not numbered which makes it easy to forget your position so I had to add them via a Sharpe pen. Other wise using the factory tool costing $160 - $250, it works great without getting your fingers burned on hot engine parts.
