So far it works. I do not know whether there is any longer term effect. After the installation, I checked the light and together with the adaptive head light feature. It works the way that I understand. That has been 2 months. Installation is actually very easy. I have a 2007 X3. You yank out the flood light cover. It is just held in place with 4 clips. After that, there is one screw to loose(on the right side). The left is just holding up by another clip or something. It is really a 5 mins job. My dealer wanted to charge me $275.00 for the job. The original part is $165.00 The dealer told me that they have to go underneath, removed the whole bumper. Come on. Who would design something like this?
