Have a 2008 528i, was getting low tire pressure and tpm malfunction error. Bought this off Amazon, took it to my repair guy who normally does japanese cars. Took off the old tire, unscrew the old sensor (from tire stem), screw in the new one. Reset TPM from main menu. Easy peezy.
