I bought this battery in Spring of 2011 in hopes of saving a few $s and replacing a great OEM battery used in a 2007 Honda. I charged the battery as instructed and installed it on my bike. I started the bike and let it idle for about 20 mins. When I gave the bike some gas it killed the engine. I tried to restart the bike but there was not enough power in the battery. I took the battery out recharged it the next day but the weather wasn't good so I waited about a week, installed the battery. The battery cranked the engine a few times and died. I recharged the battery and got the bike running that day. I took anice ride. A week later I tried to start the bike again but there was not enough power in the battery. This senario happened time and time again. I am an Electrical Engineer and wanted to get to the root of the problem. I tested the bike for leakage current-NO PROBLEM WITH BIKE. When I investagted the type of battery-AGM, I found that they are suppose to hold their charge at about 12.7V for 6 months (open circuit). This battery fell from full charge to 12.4V in a week. Now after a summer of frustration the battery will not take a charge due to sufication of the electrodes.

THIS IS A CRAPPY BATTERY!!!! Pay a little more and get a decent battery.
