i bought this for my dads birthday . for his 03 chevrolet express base model v6
the van already has a geat intake . people who own one know what i mean .
plus i don't think anyone makes a cai for an express. but no need.
this drop in makes the stock air box equal to any cai .
the throttle feels more responsive and mpg's seem a little better .
fyi it had a new paper filter in before the swap .
clean and bag your old filter (if not to dirty) for when you clean the afe prodry.
it takes a long time to dry (air dry .dont blow with high psi ) a hair dryer is probably ok on low heat .
but anyway i highly recommend this love it .
