The sound baffles tune the sound waves using calibrated tuning gate openings that allow portions of the waves to pass through. These tuned waves reflect off the back wall of the muffler and cancel out unwanted harsher sounds. The large diameter perforated core eliminates the flow restrictions of a louvered style core. A careful balance between perforation size/spacing and the baffle tuning gate make for a great 3 chamber performance muffler.All mufflers are reversible for custom installation.

I Like the sound of Magnaflow products. I bought this muffler because it was costing less than regular stock muffler at the time and I wanted no airflow restrictions. There are no chambers to dampen the sound that is why it is reversible. Although still, the sound produce is great. Make sure you have a center muffler to kill the high pitch otherwise the decibels will high enough to get the attention of the troopers that have less law enforcement to contend with than their counter parts in the city.
